SEA BASS<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Part of Hoi Huat & Usaha Fadzilat\u2019s aquaculture business is our cultivation of sea bass (Late Calcalitus) also known as Ikan Siakap locally, which also one of the culture species under our consideration if rearing in farm. Sea Bass fed on small fish, prawns, crabs and cuttlefish. The sea bass is an important marine species both to commercial fisheries (where it provides a valued seasonal catch for many inshore fishermen) and to aquaculture, where it is reared in lagoons (small scale production) and in industrial, offshore and inland systems. Seabass reach a commercial size of 400-700g in 5 months. The maximum size of a common bass can reach 100 cm in length and 10 kg to 12 Kg in weight. This species enjoys an amazing reputation all over world, as it is a highly popular fish for food. It is low in calories and an excellent source of protein, selenium and also containing vitamins B-12 and B-6.<\/p>\n
