Our national headquarters is located in Kawasan Perusahaan LPK 3, Sungai Petani, Kedah. With modern facilities and infrastructure, we provide the freshest produce from our ponds across hundreds of acres in the Kuala Muda District.<\/p>\n

Hoi Huat uses purpose-built earthen ponds on coastal lands with brackish waters, ideal for intensive aquaculture. Sustainable, clean coastal resources support successful prawn, shrimp, and fish farming. We ensure pond health through scheduled maintenance: equipment replacement, weekly cleaning, antibiotic residue monitoring, and periodic treatments to remove foul odors, fouling organisms, and prevent disease. MD-HPE lining is applied to improve water flow and prevent soil erosion.<\/p>\n

At Hoi Huat, we take corporate responsibility seriously, promoting environmental awareness in aquaculture. By adhering to Malaysian laws and quality standards, we maintain high standards and minimize negative impacts.
Our stringent quality control ensures we pass annual inspections and are certified by the Department of Fisheries Malaysia under the Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry, meeting European Union requirements under Regulation 5(1) of the Fisheries (Quality Control of Fish for Export to the European Union) Regulations 2009. Additionally, we are certified under MyGAP for complying with Malaysian standards for Good Aquaculture Practice for \u201cMarine Fish in Pond\u201d and \u201cMarine Shrimp Culture in Brackishwater Pond.\u201d<\/p>\n
As the country’s pioneer in milkfish aquaculture, we aim to introduce this nutritious, protein-rich fish to the local market. Although milkfish has been popular in Indonesia, the Philippines, and Taiwan for 300 years, it’s new to Malaysia.
With our new factory equipped with advanced processing machines, we are also moving into value-added processing.
