As Malaysia’s population ages, Alzheimer’s disease has become an urgent health concern, creating emotional and financial challenges for countless families. The limited awareness and resources around Alzheimer’s care make early diagnosis and support critical to managing the disease effectively. This is why the Rotary Club of Shah Alam (RCSA) is dedicated to raising awareness, advancing caregiver and careworker training, and building partnerships with organizations to alleviate the impact of Alzheimer’s in our communities.

Our “Overcoming Alzheimer’s & Unlocking Hope” initiative seeks to support those affected by dementia by providing education, resources, and tools to foster a deeper understanding of the disease. As part of World Alzheimer’s Awareness Month in September, we invite you to join us for virtual sessions led by experts on dementia. Together, we can empower families, caregivers, and communities with the knowledge and support they need to face this disease.

This event is made possible with the invaluable support of JOBADA (Johor Bahru Alzheimer’s Disease Support Association), The Dementia Society Perak, Sabah Alzheimer’s Disease Support Association – Sabah Az, and Penang Dementia Association.

Join us to help bring hope and action to Alzheimer’s care in Malaysia.
